ケーキやお菓子を陳列するためのスタンド。
素材や形や味などを、これだけ小さな中にミリ単位で計算された繊細さを
どれだけ引き立てられるのかを追求しています。
甘みを際立たせるための塩みのように、“スチール”の無骨で冷たい表情で
優しくあたたかいスイーツを強調しながらも
それぞれの部材は、形を保つ最小限の薄さを選んだ上に
プレートの縁はエッジを削り、より細さを際立たせています。
軸や足に使用しているスチールのロッドも鍛造のスペシャリストによる
手作業でなめらかなに曲げて、先端を扇状になるように
ハンマーでたたき込んでいます。
“スイーツ”と”スチール”の相異なる表情の強調と
“繊細な仕上げ”という相居る表情の調和のバランスを
計算し尽くしたスタンドです。
A stand for displaying cakes and sweets.
We strive to bring out the fine details of the ingredients,
shape, and flavor in such a small space, calculated down to the millimeter.
Like salt that brings out the sweetness, the rugged and cold appearance
of steel accentuates the gentle warmth of sweets, but each component
has been chosen to be as thin as possible to maintain its shape, and the
edges of the plate have been rounded to further accentuate its slenderness.
The steel rods used for the shaft and legs are also bent smoothly by hand by
forging specialists, and the ends are hammered into a fan shape.
This stand is a carefully calculated balance of the contrasting expressions of
"sweets" and "steel" and the harmony of their coexisting expressions of "delicate finish."
